From November 29th to December 1st, the Health Humanities Lab of the Duke Franklin Humanities Institute is hosting a three-day, interdisciplinary exploration of the practice of midwifery! Each evening of this series will showcase a film on midwifery from one of three unique perspectives: historical, global, and local. Film screenings will be followed by a small panel, composed of academic experts and experienced healthcare providers, intended to foster discussion and understanding about themes posed by the film.
