black anger

calling me angry

is not an assault to  

my character

I wear it proudly

my badge

of spite

calling me angry

is a misguided attempt

to force me to surrender

to crooked rules

I do

not subscribe to

my anger justified

my frustration warranted

my exasperation legitimate

because anger is my only instinct

for when ignorant people

aspire to

silence me
