We are the Future

When people say the future is black, 

they are right. 

When people say the future is brown, 

they are right. 

We embody change, and we embody everything that we have to offer. 

We exhibit culture, music, food, languages, beauty, talent and everything else under the sun. Look beyond the color of our skin and accept what we have to give you. We want to be more than just names on a piece of paper or faces on a street. We are not defined by our past, but by our future and we are unique in our own way. 

We hold each others hands as we step into new roles. Do not be the one to break the bonds we have and can continue to form. 

Let there be light in our eyes as we find the identity within our hearts and within each other’s unity. 

Let us show off our colors and yell at the top of our lungs. Not only to be noticed, but to also be heard. 

Because we are the future.
