Fall

        Coming back to school in the fall has been hard for me every year at UNC. For some reason, the fall always seems to be the hardest semester though also the most hopeful. Last fall, I lost my best friend to a car accident and the following semester was one of the worst times of my life. It’s been hard to sit with the memories as I pass the spots where I cried and thought I wouldn’t make it and the professors that I continually had to beg for extensions from. But I’ve been focusing on packaging all of the beautiful moments that I’ve experienced in the past year as well and keeping them tucked away inside as a reminder that love and beauty are always there, especially in our toughest moments. The warmth from these pictures from summer encapsulate some of these comforting moments.
