Act in Motion

In truth, loving myself is 

An act in motion

A volatile rebellion 

Of what I was taught.

Loving myself is seeing

Beauty within me.

Beauty beyond me.

Standing still

In the midst of the motion;

Loving myself is

Opposition.

It is holding my breath

In a room full of people,

Inhaling on the edge of the 

Stratosphere.

I am 

An act in motion.
