“We actually knew of each other before we each respectively got to Carolina. Virginia and I are both from the same hometown (Gastonia, NC) and we went to the same k-12 school. Although, our paths never truly crossed we each remembered each other’s name when we saw one another the first day of class for LFIT. From then on we were friends for the entirety of fall semester; as we each were coming out of previous relationships we realized that there was an unusual connection between us.”

A night that was supposed to be a simple trip to cookout turned into an 8 hour long date sitting in my car discussing religion, politics, aliens, and our mutual love for history and music.
