In College While Being a Virgin
The story of why my friend chooses to wait
Thom York once said that “sex is more than an act of pleasure, it’s the ability to be able to feel so close to a person, so connected, so comfortable that it’s almost breathtaking to the point you feel you can’t take it. And at this moment you’re part of them.”
Love- Is the foundation and force that drives her everyday life.
Relationships- She believes that we are able to love everyone including God or whatever you may identify as the thing that exists beyond material earth if you think in that.
So, what is the difference between the special one and everyone else you love?- What separates that person apart from everyone? Is it Reproduction?
Jenna believes Sex might be the answer. When you find a person who really compliments you and makes you a better person then you might choose to spend the rest of your life with them. However, if we already express love to everyone in different ways, then how are we really loving THIS person differently? The one that we are spending the rest of our lives with? We are already one with this person, and then, with sex comes a unique bond, we are physically becoming one; and from there, can come a baby, a perfect mix of you and the person who completes you. After spending time thinking of what separates those relationships, the only thing she could really think of was SEX. Even though she had many opportunities to have sex she made the decision not do it. She believes that sex might be the thing that will grow the connection and make it stronger with the special one. To her, it does not matter if this is true or not or if it seems too philosophical. In the end, she will still wait.
The special moment- To her, something is compelling when she already took the time to get to know the person instead of having sex with someone where there is a deficiency in emotion, desire, and love. In the end, the sexual experience will be driven by the bond that already exists, and it will be magical.
