Why I Vote

I’m not a racist.

Nor a liar.

Nor a misogynist.

Nor a narcissist.

Nor transphobic.

Nor xenophobic.

Nor islamophobic.

I don’t deny science.

Nor do I insult veterans.

Nor do I suppress voting.

Nor do I assault women.

Nor do I deny climate change.

Nor do I support white supremacy.

So that’s why I vote.

I vote for my future.

I vote for our future.

I vote for the people that look like me.

I vote for a country where people don’t hate me for being me.

I vote for the person that will value everybody.

I won’t vote for the person that only values some bodies.

This election isn’t just a matter of politics. It’s a reflection of what the nation values and a test of whether you truly value what you claim to. It’s a battle for human lives and human rights; a battle for my life and your life.

There are four years of hell that we need to undo.

So if you value my life, you’ll vote blue.
